FUEL THE BODY HONOR THE EARTH

WHAT WE OFFER
We provide organic food services to local businesses, schools, co-ops, and grocery stores.
40% of our programming is distributed at no cost to those experiencing food insecurity.
Programming includes organic produce, eggs, fruit, Maple syrup, honey, baked goods, meat processing, aquaponics, hydroponics, and livestock.
Is there a need in the community that's being overlooked? Let us know how we can help!
MEET THE FARMER

My name is Matthew Jedlicka, and my life’s work has been devoted to strengthening Indigenous food systems and supporting farmers in rural communities. As the founder of The Department of Agriculture for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, which I served as Director, I oversaw programs that promote food sovereignty, land stewardship, food distribution, and sustainable agriculture across the land of 10,000 lakes.

From that foundation, Ritual Roots was born, a nonprofit farm and community project in Northern Minnesota. Ritual Roots began with a simple vision, restoring the land through organic farming while restoring people's connection to food, culture, and above all, community. We are creating a living model of regenerative agriculture that not only produces healthy food, but also provides a place for education, storytelling, and healing.
